DFWHC and Critical Insight webinar “Ransomware in Healthcare” has been rescheduled for August 5

07/28/2022

The best laid plans! The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Critical Insight complimentary webinar “Ransomware in Healthcare: Prepare, Detect and Respond” originally scheduled for yesterday had to be postponed. The new date has been set for Friday, August 5 from 2:00-3:00 p.m., CST.

With great frustration, we learned the webinar platform DFWHC uses for its events was unexpectedly down for over an hour, thus the forced cancellation. No worries, as the speakers have graciously rearranged their busy schedules.

Please note, all registrants of the original event will be re-registered by our staff.

During this panel discussion, you’ll see tactics the criminals use to get into healthcare organizations and how to combat it. The speakers will walk you through the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to explain how every organization can prepare for an attack, detect it quickly, and respond rapidly.

Panelists will include John Delano, Vice President, Ministry and Support Services at CHRISTUS Health; Fred Langston, Chief Product Officer at Critical Insight; Jake Milstein, Chief Marketing Officer at Critical Insight; and Stephen Love, President/CEO, DFW Hospital Council.

For those who did not register for the initial event, you can do so here.
