DFW ANIA webinar on “Post Pandemic” set for June 26

The DFW American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA) Chapter will be hosting the webinar “Focus on Organizational Behavioral Health, Post Pandemic” on June 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, CDT.

This program has been approved for up to 3 continuing education (CE) hours through Sigma Theta Tau International Beta Beta-Dallas Chapter, Texas Woman’s University.

Guest panelists will include Kari Ankeney, PMP at JPS Health Network; Sharon Stewart, RN at JPS Health Network; Johnna Moution-Donald, MSIS, BSN, RN at Texas Health Resources; and Molly Case, MHA, RN, CSSGB at Parkland Health & Hospital System. Dr. Joni Padden of Texas Health Resources will serve as the moderator with special guests Kurtis Young, LCSW of Parkland Health & Hospital System and Elaine Beardsley, MN, ACCNS-P CPEN of Children’s Health.

The event will describe the impact of COVID-19 on basic hospital operations and explain how data was used to prioritize workflows. The panel will define post-traumatic growth (PTG) as it relates to organizations after experiencing the pandemic and also provide steps that could be taken to reduce the burden of documentation for clinicians.
