In a story in this morning’s D Healthcare Daily detailing the future of the Affordable Care Act following Donald Trump’s presidential victory in Tuesday’s election, DFW Hospital Council President/CEO W. Stephen Love offered his comments.
“Throughout the primary and the race for president, Trump repeatedly vowed to repeal and replace Obamacare,” according to the story.
“I’ve been in healthcare since the early 1970s. We’ve had change in the White House over the years. The thing I always say, if we keep the interest of the patient and what’s right for the patient as the guiding principle, it doesn’t matter who is in the White House,” Love said.
Also quoted in the Matt Goodman story were Benjamin Isgur of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Mathew Eshbaugh-Soha of the University of North Texas.
