D Healthcare Daily Editor Matt Goodman offered his take on the release of hospital federal safety ratings by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in a story posted yesterday.

DFW Hospital Council President/CEO W. Stephen Love was quoted in the article, “CMS indicated that approximately 25 percent of hospitals were assigned a star rating based on 18 or fewer measures while other hospitals ratings included two or three times that number of measures.”
