D CEO Healthcare Editor Will Maddox has penned a great profile of Dr. John Warner, which ran March 18. The executive vice president for health system affairs at UT Southwestern, Dr. Warner was instrumental in the planning and construction of UT Southwestern’s William J. Clements Jr. University Hospital, a 460-bed facility consistently named the best in Dallas. He is now leading its planned expansion.

Dr. Warner, an interventional cardiologist, was the former 2015 chair of the DFW Hospital Council Board of Trustees.
