Reporter Dana Branham of The Dallas Morning News posted a detailed story on this morning’s proactive presentation “Active Shooter Training: What to do in the Healthcare Workplace,” co-hosted by the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council and Fisher Phillips.

Held in the main auditorium at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, the event included Captain Dan Birbeck of the Dallas County Hospital District Police Department discussing the Avoid, Deny and Defend (ADD) method to assist employees escape potential workplace tragedy.
