The Coalition to Protect America’s Health Care has taken another step in recognizing the nation’s hospital heroes with the release of a new video focusing on the neonatal intensive care unit at New York City’s Lenox Hill Hospital, part of North Shore LIJ Health System. This video is the first of several the Coalition will produce over the next few months to make the point that health care is personal, with people helping people. Steve Love, president/CEO of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, serves on the Coalition board.



The videos are expected to emphasize the point that threats to hospital funding could make care harder to deliver. The new video follows the introduction last week of a new website spotlighting personal stories of exceptional hospital heroes and asking for nominations of new hospital heroes.
