DESCRIPTION:The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC)\, UT Arlington and Care & Prepare will co-host the webinar “Advanced Care Planning (ACP): Clarity Beyond Documents\, Everybody On the Same Page” on Thursday\, June 11 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.\, CDT.\n\nA panel of speakers will include Leah Wingard\, Executive Director of Care & Prepare; Dr. Mari Tietze\, Health Informatic Professor at UT Arlington School of Nursing; Dr. Jerry Barker\, Radiation Oncologist at Texas Cancer Specialists; Dr. Mahmoud Jawad\, Associate Professor of Mathematics at UT Arlington; Ann McGowan\, MSN\, RN\, CPPS\, President of Care & Prepare; John Nguyen\, Health Informatics Intern at Care & Prepare; and Stephen Love\, President/CEO of DFWHC.\n\nJoin us for this discussion as the speakers will detail the impact of a multi-year study between UT Arlington and Care & Prepare involving Advance Care Planning (ACP).
