SUMMARY:Texas Health Informatics Alliance Fourth Annual Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Texas Health Informatics Alliance will be hosting its Fourth Annual Conference on Friday\, September 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.\, CST. This year’s event is an in-person meeting to be held on the campus of UT Arlington (UTA) in the Bluebonnet Ballroom.\n\nThe Texas Health Informatics Alliance consists of UTA\, UTHealth Houston\, Texas State University\, Texas Woman’s University and UT Southwestern Medical Center. The conference will bring together the health informatics community of Texas to include presentations\, speakers and poster abstracts.\n\nSpeakers will include Nora Cox\, chief executive officer of Texas e-Health Alliance; and David Jaffray\, PhD\, a professor of Imaging and Physics at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.\n\nYou can register here.\n\nContinuing education credits will be available.\n\nThe Texas Health Informatics Alliance (THIA) is a collective of individuals and groups throughout the state of Texas. THIA aims to build informatics ties across Texas through partnership in the following areas: Research\, Data\, Policy\, Education and Workforce Development.
