DESCRIPTION:The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Forvis Mazars will co-host the webinar “Navigating 340B: Key Updates and Strategies” on Wednesday\, August 14 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.\, CT.\n\nSpeakers will include Travis E. D.\, Manager\, Healthcare Performance Improvement at Forvis Mazars; Brian Bell\, Principal\, Healthcare Performance Improvement at Forvis Mazars; and Stephen Love\, President/CEO of DFWHC.\n\nFor more than 30 years\, the 340B Drug Pricing Program has provided financial help to hospitals serving vulnerable communities to manage rising prescription drug costs. Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act requires pharmaceutical manufacturers participating in Medicaid to sell outpatient drugs at discounted prices to health care organizations that care for many uninsured and low-income patients.
