DESCRIPTION:The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) Foundation will continue its live virtual “Opioid Discussion” with the topic “Opioids and the Overdose Epidemic- Fentanyl Epidemic and the High Cost of the Opioids” on Wednesday\, July 13 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.\, CST.\n\nDuring this session\, speakers will discuss factors contributing to the misuse of and addiction to opioids—including prescription pain relievers\, heroin and synthetic opioids such as fentanyl.
