DESCRIPTION:The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) will serve as a Supporting Sponsor of the virtual North Dallas Chamber of Commerce (NDCC) Annual Health Care Conference on January 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.\n\nThe event will include three sessions and more than 10 speakers. DFWHC President/CEO Stephen Love will moderate the panel discussion “Reducing the Number of Uninsureds in North Texas: A Legislative Perspective” from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Senator Nathan Johnson will serve as one of the panelists.\n\nDr. David Blumenthal\, president of the Commonwealth Fund\, will serve as keynote speaker during his presentation “Key Structural Economic Drivers and Their Implications on Health Care” from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.\n\nAn additional panel discussion “The Modernization of Health Care” is set for 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Shara McClure\, divisional vice president at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas will moderate the guests to include Hank Adams\, global director of HDR; John Phillips\, president\, Methodist Medical Center Dallas; and Dr. Aasim Saeed\, vice president digital health\, Baylor Scott & White Health.\n\nYou can register here.\n\nFor more information\, please contact Geoeffery Williams at gwilliams@ndcc.org.
