The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) will host the complimentary educational webinar “Surprise Billing and Transparency Mandates: What they might mean for providers” this Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. CST. This “hot topic by demand” webinar was requested by area providers.

With at least 25 states implementing measures and Congress now pursuing a legislative fix to address surprise billing, potential measures are on the horizon that could significantly impact providers. In addition, the White House issued an executive order to the Department of Health and Human Services to require hospitals to post standard charge info to the public, including information about negotiated rates.

In this webinar, speakers will explore the current status of federal and state law, what may be coming next and what it means for healthcare providers.
