In an interview yesterday on NewsRadio 1080 KRLD, DFW Hospital Council President/CEO Stephen Love discussed National Nurses Day and the COVID-19 vaccine.

“If you haven’t gotten your vaccination, let me tell you how to honor the nurses,” said Love. “Go get you vaccine as soon as possible.”

Love said you can’t provide too much education when it comes to achieving “herd immunity” in North Texas.

“When I talk to the physicians, they say that the overall numbers say statistically that vaccines are very safe,” he said. “What I’m trying to say to people is the virus is still out there. Don’t let your guard down. Get your vaccine.”
