Dubbed “The Iron Lady,” Margaret Thatcher served as keynote speaker of the DFW Hospital Council’s 1997 Annual Awards Luncheon. More than 1,600 attendees turned out for the event held at the Wyndham Anatole in Dallas. At the podium, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom receives a standing ovation following her speech.
