Patient handling is more difficult than you think. The DFW Hospital Council will be hosting a special educational meeting Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children auditorium. Titled “Safe Patient Handling and Mobility,” a special panel of experts will discuss evidence that shows organizations with a robust and safe patient handling program see improved outcomes, decreased workers’ compensation claims and increased caregiver satisfaction.
