The DFW Hospital Council (DFWHC) and Abilene Christian University (ACU) webinar “Building Tomorrow’s Healthcare Workforce: Addressing Staffing Needs and Inspiring the Next Generation” originally broadcast on October 30 has been posted online. Speakers included Meghan Hope, JD, MHA, Associate Professor and Healthcare Administration Program Director at Abilene Christian University; Susan Maupin, JD, RN, Vice President at Advis Healthcare Consulting and Adjunct Faculty at Abilene Christian University; and Stephen Love, President/CEO of DFWHC.

The webinar examined workforce challenges and highlighted key trends and areas of opportunity for the DFW healthcare sector. The speakers also explored innovative strategies to attract middle and high school students to healthcare careers.
